Can anyone tell me what year this bike is? I've been told it is a 1948. Four head studs. Sorry, I don't have more pictures at this time.
Took first place in competition at the Colorado Bike show in February.

This bike is known in the archives as the Drake conversion which was built by the Drake Corporation whose main claim to fame was the fabulous Offenhauser engine as used in the Indianapolis 500 car race, from which the head design was used on the Speedway engine.
I am estimating the age to be a 1977.

Four restored two-valve fenders and a Maely MK2 in a Maely flexy-flyer frame
Engine is lacking points, crank, and piston but I believe I have those parts.
Fenders $100 apiece.

Maely MK 1 just needs points cover and some clutch cover screws. I have internal rocker but no valves. Side cover has lost some chrome.
