Roman fell in Heat 1 of the match.

He made a good start from the outside gate and came round the outside of
Jesper Jensen on the first two corners. Down the back straight he was
third and Jensen seemed to shape to come inside Roman going into turn 3.
Roman appeared to realise this and went into ther bend fairly quickly
only to run into the back of Todd wiltshire who appeared to lock up very
slightly. Roman was catapulted towards the fence still on his bike and
crashed at hight speed.

After about 5 minutes treatment he got up and walked back to the pits.
He took no further part in the meeting but was quite happy in the bar
afterwards. He suffered bruising to his hip which were added to the
skin taken off his backside at Ipswich the previous evening. He was
certainly cheerful after the meeting and appeared to be OK

----- Forwarded message from peterleckie -----

A few friends and I are planning to do a live update from the site
www.speedway-online.co.uk (still very much in it's infancy) which is
currently only totally viewable with IE. Hopefully by the end of the week we
can have it viewable in at least Netsape too.

Anyway the reason for dropping you a mail was to ask if you could post your
colleagues on the International Mailing List in case any of them would be
interested in seeing the British U21 Results comie in. Meeting starts 19:30
GMT on Friday 7 April 2000 and is being held at our local track (Armadale).
