I exercised my right to free speech (actually I paid £10.50). I didn't
swear, I just expressed the feelings of about 1,000 other people. Her
answer was violence. What a pity she doesn't give her son
a good kick up the arse, he's the one that deserves it.
Magda Louis asked me if I would sue Mrs Clouting for her assault, but I
couldn't possibly do that as it would only end up with Tim Woodward having
to fork out even more cash.

At least we do get stirred up - the Deadbeets are so, well, dead really. A
quiet exit from Foxhall after you chucked away the match, and a few cheers
at the end of a match when you struggled to beat a four man team at home.
They haven't got a clue how to react to success.
After years of domination by the Witches, punctuated by the occasional
victory, you lot have got a long way to go before you think you can call the
shots.

major international events World Team Cup Final, Saturday 3 June: Swedish

We Aussies are blessed this year to be able to view the G.P.'s on Pay T.V.
which will be a real bonus, but still the it also be a real bonus to be able
to have a look at the Elite League stuff and see the Aussie boys go around.
I can supply all tapes and postage sent and also return postage all payed
payed for, just need a kind soul over there with a good V.C.R. and remote.

THE 2000 SPEEDWAY PREVIEW
BRITISH ELITE LEAGUE SPEEDWAY BACK ON SKY SPORTS
SKY SPORTS viewers will experience the grit and drama of the cinder track
when the British Elite League returns to the screens on 18 May.
The Eastbourne vs Coventry fixture marks the start of over 20 weeks of live
coverage on Sky Sports, with every Elite League club visited at least once
in the first ten weeks of the season. Sky Sports will again be on-site every
week with a full outside broadcast including the 'drive-in' studio for
immediate post-race interviews. A new feature for the millenium season sees
the riders equipped with a device designed to give viewers on-screen lap
times, while air ships and pole-cams continue to offer a unique
perspective.
Jonathan Green presents live speedway with track experts including former
world champion Sam Ermolenko and Kelvin Tatum. Suzi Perry is the roving
reporter with commentary from Tony Millard and Peter Collins.
Sky Sports will also broadcast exclusive live coverage of six Grand Prix
featuring the cream of the world's riders beginning in Prague on 6 May, plus
the World Team Final in September. Details of both the Elite League fixtures
and the Grand Prix are as follows:
Saturday 6 May at 6pm on Sky Sports 2: Czech Grand Prix Jason Crump of Kings
Lynn and Australia, Tomasz Gollob of Ipswich and Poland and Mark Loram of
Poole and England are among the stars set to compete in the first grand prix

Thursday 18 May at 7.30pm on Sky Sports 1: Eastbourne vs Coventry The Sussex
Eagles have had their title aspirations boosted by the signing of Paul Hurry
from Oxford while Coventry Bees are currently on tenterhooks over the on/off
signing of the talented Lee Richardson from Poole.
Wednesday 24 May at 7.30pm on Sky Sports 2: Poole vs Peterborough The
meeting between last season's top two, who featured in a thrilling finale on
Sky Sports last September. With Poole Pirates beaten in the final heat at
Kings Lynn, Peterborough Panthers pipped them to the post by beating Belle
Vue at home.

After fading mid-season last year, Ipswich Witches, who feature top

by tempting away Elite League number one Jason Crump from neighbours
Peterborough, thus making up for the loss of the legendary Tony Rickardsson.

Wednesday 21 June: Oxford vs Belle Vue Senior riders like Australian Todd
Wiltshire will lead a young Cheetahs side into the new season. Look out for
