After his fabulous performance at the Aussie Titles in February, NSW's Adam
Shields has secured a Work Permit in the UK and has signed for the Isle Of
Wight 'Islanders'. Following a delay with paperwork, it's hoped Adam will
start his Premier League campaign this Wednesday morn Aus time, in a match
against Swindon. Well done.

According to the averages printed in the programme Hurry is Eastbourne's 3rd
heat leader. He was nominated for the last heat but the referee sought
clarification and after several minutes Hurry was replaced by Barker. Can
you clarify Hurry's average? Am I right in thinking that this year heat
leaders do NOT have to ride at 1,3,5?
Hurry did have PAID NINE Barker and Norris paid 8 and 7 respectively. Kokko
had no equipment. Maybe MD was happy with his maximum and didn't fancy
another gruelling battle with Nicholls (heat 10 was a good race).

Poole lost their way between heats 5 and 10 accumulating a paltry seven
points from those 6 heats although Havelock and Nicholls were not fully
rewarded for the effort invested. Emil for the first time this season scored
