Ha Ha Joe Screen, what a nincompoop you made of yourself tonight at Ipswich.
My cabbage got really excited, sitting on it's beach chair watching you get
all grizzly because you couldn't overtake Nigel Sadler. Nice response,
pulling out his throttle cable on the back straight after the race had
finished ...
Still, the last laugh was on Screen with a majestic Golden Double Testicle
ride: 1 point, doubled-up to TWO.
Ipswich Select 58 Eastbourne 32 - what a stupid result - Deadbeets will be
throwing beer glasses everywhere now.
15-2 after three heats! Kokko ef while leading heat 2, and Collyer already
excluded for demolishing the fence in the first attempt.
Heat 3 was funny, with Shaun Tacey (in as a guest for the ill Svab) and
Ferjan getting a 5-1 over R/R Screen.
Heat 4, and Screen takes advantage of Gollob's inability to ride the fourth
bend, and passes the Pole to record a heat win.
Heat 6 and Sadler rides superbly to block Screen, who is not at all happy,
but no-one can understand why, as Sadler didn't do anything wrong.
Heat 9 5-1 by Screen and Norris over Ferjan & Tacey makes it 31-22 to
Ipswich, but that's the end for the Eagles, as the Witches finished with 6
consecutive heat advantages including the "controversial" Heat 12.
Heat 11: Doncaster dumps Dugard high and wide, allowing Louis to get away.
Dugard repeats the move on Doncaster next time round, and Barker slips
through to third as well. Doncaster re-passes Barker! Historians were
going to their archives.
heat 12: Screen in as GDTS and Norris is outgated by Tacey & Sadler. Screen
wedges past Norris, and tries an outside move on Sadler, who yet again has
the answer and blocks him. Finally Norris spots a gap on the inside of the
second bend, and draws alongside before causing Sadler's fall on the third
bend - quite a heavy crash, taking down a couple of sections of fence.
Norris excluded, much to the delight of the crowd - I even saw some Ipswich
fans clapping!
In the rerun, Screen only manages a lap before his bike slows. he reached
down to fiddle with something (not sure what) and he got going again, but it
was only to great appreciation from the home fans :-)

Witches inspired by the guests, and !!!!**** Jason Bunyan ****!!!! The man
of the moment actually took time to come to find me, and say hello - it was
good to meet you, and great to see you up and about. Also, a good reception
from the home fans when Jason went out to the centre green.
I was not impressed by the choice of Tacey ("cheap & local" :-)) but he rode
well. Sadler was excellent value, and did the sort of job that a fully fit
Lol Hare would have done during the season - but it's clear now that
Lawrence has never been fully fit all season. He really shouldn't keep
pushing himself and getting set back by the knocks and bangs that most
riders suffer, and I hope he's sensible enough to take a break for a while
now.
Eastbourne were a shambles, reminiscent of the Ipswich team last week ...
Dugard tried hard, but that was it. Screen made an arse of himself, which
was the most entertaining part of the whole night.
My cabbage was taken home by an owner of four rabbits, so will meet a useful
end.

This is a question for the Swedish listees:
I will be in Stockholm during the first week of September and am
considering attending the Swedish Elite League match between Rospiggarna
and Indianerna on Tuesday, 5 September. I think it's the only one within
reasonable travelling distance.
How far is Hallstavik from Stockholm, is it possible to get there/back by
public transport, and is the track anywhere near the town centre (i.e.
within a few kilometres)?

As Anthony Syeele remains as only one of SGP referees, undoubtedly he will

Hi all,
with only 1 week to the British GP, wild card Lee Richardson should
now do the right thing and withdraw from the meeting.
He is obviously unfit and if he withdrew would be given a chance at
another time I am se.
Let someone else have the space who is match fit Lee, so they can
prepare for the meeting with time to get things set up correctly!

Results Service. There will be updates after every four heats.
Martin Phillips and myself will be ringing Nick Dyer with updates
throughout the meeting and Nick will then update the away results
bulletin board. Any other relevant news throughout the meeting will also

Hi Kevin! Nice to hear Your plan for Our country. Hallstavik is around 10 swedish miles from Stockholm and it take´s around 1 our and a quarter to go through with car. In Hallstavik is easy to find the track, because it´s a very small town and You can´t missed the track.
Sorry, I can´t met You Up, because I´m on away for the BLACKSMITHS awaymatch down at Smaland´s Malilla (SWEDISH CHAMPIONSHIPSTRACK THIS YEAR). If You will go with Me far down You can mail Me off list. I go with bus from ESKILSTUNA. We have a real FAN-bus there from. We have to take the train from Stockholm to ESKILSTUNA or maybe I can sorted out a car-lift to E-TUNA.
How long are You exactly here for and between which dates? Maybe We can have a meet anyway!?

this week with the Banner Heading of "Aces slam cash claim",
saying that the promotion have never owed any of their riders any
money? If you did I bet you really enjoyed reading the article 16
pages later , with the banner headline "Frozen Asset"
Assuming you did read these articles, I have a question for you......
Which interpretation of events do you believe?

Just a result I'm afraid as I'm up at 3.30am to go away. Best team won on
the night in a meeting with loads of good racing and dominated by Mark Loram
who was immense.
