I spend my holiday in France - Ocean beach are beautiful: Bayonne; Mimizan; Arcachon; Seignosse, Biscarosse Plage... But not only - oyster, wine!!! and grass-track also. I saw four very interesting grass-track international meetings in : St. Macaire (11.06.00, start - 21 h ! ); Baleyssagues ( 18.06.00 ); La Reole ( 1-2.07.00, European Championship semifinal ); Marmande ( 13.07.00, start - 21.30h !). Each meeting takes a long time - about 4 - 5 houres but there are typical family picnic. Some competitions at the same time: grass - track international solo,Championship of France national; sidecar; cadet - litle boys and ... litle girl ( in Baleyssagues). Oh , fantastic experiences. Only on sunday - 2.07.00 in La Reole I was in two minds about Tomek Gollob, ... Grand Prix in Wroclaw...! If someone need programmes, more information, full results from European semifinal or other meetings, please, e-mail me. I'm looking for programmes from World and European Championship - final, qualifying rounds - speedway, grass - long - track, iceracing. At 40-20 after 10 races, Cheetahs had not supplied a single heat winner. Then in heat 11 Wiltshire and Lemon shot from the gate and , with Lemmo holding off Norris, took a surprise 5-1. There was a similar start for Todd and Johnston in the next race, but this time Screen went round Wiltshire and set off in pursuit of Johnno, just failing to catch him on the finish line , but pushing Steve to the fastest time of the night. Screen is back to his very best, and Dugard took another Arlington maximum despite a back injury, but my man of the match was track specialist Steve Johnston.
