The 2004 Wild West season concluded with Ryan Fisher capping a perfect day with a Scratch Main victory in his first meeting at the track.
Fisher started from the pole and was first off the line and into turn one. Charlie Venegas was glued to Fisher's back tire as they went down the back straight. The former National Champion applied the pressure throughout the race, but Fisher was equal to the task and was first to the checkered flag. Venegas was second, Buck Blair finished third, and Chris Kerr was fourth.
The qualifying heats began with a Dario Galvin victory. Fisher began his day with a win in race two. Venegas beat Blair in race three. Kerr completed the first round with a victory over Billy Hiles
Neil Facchini began the second round with a win. Fisher made it two for two by beating Nate Perkins. Blair scored a victory over Denny Scopellite in race 14. Yarrow ended round two by using the outside to defeat Venegas and Kerr.
Venegas won for the second time to begin round three. Yarrow beat Kerr for his second win of the day. Fisher made it three in a row with a win over Galvin. Scopellite finished the qualifying rounds with a win over Hiles.
In the first semi, Venegas was victorious over Kerr, but both riders would transfer to the Scratch Main. In the second semi, Fisher continued his winning ways with an easy win over Blair.
Dale Facchini dominated the Support Main Event by getting a great start and riding four smooth laps to earn the victory. Brian Starr was second, Rich Brock finished third, and Rudy Laurer was fourth.
Kerry Conner took the lead in the Third Division Main Event and held it on the first lap. Coming out of turn two the second time Steve Dziadus Jr. went by Conner to take the lead. Dziadus Jr. led the rest of the way for the win. Steve Dziadus Sr. was second, Kim Stevens finished third, Kerry Conner was fourth, Jeff Irwin finished fifth, and Jim Lavender was sixth.
Jason Ramirez defeated Krystal Cramer to win the Youth First Division Main. In the Youth Second Division Main, Dane Adams was victorious with Ricky Valdez finishing second, Dylan Black was third, and Joey Holt was fourth. Braydan Galvin won the Pee Wee Main and Ryan Rutherford and Samuel Ramirez finished second and third, respectively.
