Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway Results - June 4, 1999.

Unseasonably dry weather made for a hard pack, blue groove, perfectly smooth race track in the fourth night of action at Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway.

Struggling with a steep learning curve and set up problems on his new Jawa short stroke lay down, Barnacle Bill's Leathers, Western Hills Honda sponsored Patrick Reynolds was still able to win all the scratch heats in convincing fashion. "This bike is the fastest thing I've ever ridden - we've just gotta get the set up right" said Reynolds. "We'll be back on top of our game soon."

In Handicap action, "Jammin Joel" Brown won for the third week in a row. This time from the 20 yard line. Patrick Reynolds chased Brown down from the 60 yard line, but was unable to press the issue until turn four of the last lap: moving inside of Brown, Reynolds got the drive but came up a wheel short at the checkers.

Both riders celebrated with high fives to A.M.A. Referee and long time Speedway inthusiast John Bowman as they passed his observation stand on the cool down lap.
