CONTROL CABLES
As many riders use non-standard clutch levers and throttles, I recommend that riders should carry a spare cable for each. Most cables can be duplicated in a variety of colours at little or no extra cost if the original cable is available in ample time to make up a duplicate. This does not include some of the Japanese throttle cables which have parts of the throttle moulded to the cable. There are cable parts such as ferrules, nipples and adjusters available plus "universal" cables in several colours for those riders who are capable of soldering-up their own cable assemblies.
