INDIANA LOVES S-P-E-E-D-W-A-Y!!

We are racing Speedway (long track) @AMA Bike Days Memorial Weekend, May 27 & 28, with a Memorial Long Track Speedway Challenge slated for Sunday (May 28). This year for 2006 it is a sportsman event, with trophies and contingency prizes awarded, but we would like to have a good showing of Speedway to build on. We are ramping up to the AMA Speedway Long Track National Championship for 2007. Valpo is having a two day event that will pull riders from Indiana. I am told that New York won't be running this year. However, judging from the past, there is not many NY riders that ride the long tracks.

I have been speaking to Mark Engel. He is spreading the word throughout MI and Canada. Warren Diem called last week and said that he and his son will be coming to Bike Days. Warren is hurt but his son will be riding Speedway.

The track - is a limestone horse track. 21-52 Gear, it is very smooth, lots and lots of FUN! ..

The Jeff Poulos Blues Revue band plays Saturday night after the races.
