We have rented a booth in conjunction with the Indiana Flat Track Association at the Indiana State Fairgrounds for the 2008 Motorcycle Expo. If you are out and about this weekend please stop by and say hello.  The booth is located in the southeast corner of the Exposition Hall near the food court.

VALPO SPEEDWAY ACTION PORTER COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

Hi All, The following letter we write with disappointment, but also with hope for good things in the future. Let us start by plainly stating that there will be no racing program at the Porter County Fairgrounds in Valparaiso Indiana for the 2008 season.

The main reason for our decision being the fact that the Fair Board has chosen to blacktop the area in front of the Grandstands where our track is placed. They have decided it more important to have a paved area for spectator general seating during concerts held at the annual county fair, and feel this change may make the area more usable for other similar events during the summer months. However, we along others involved with Zippo Racing Promotions will be researching other possible locations, and hope to be able to return with a new site and race schedule for the 2009 season.

Also, in regards to speedway on a non promoter level, we will assuredly retain our JRM (Jawa) Speedway Dealership so as to be able to assist the riders in our area with their racing needs. Please remember that Mid America Motorcycle Speedway (www.midamspeedway.com), an exciting new venue, is coming this year to the Indianapolis area with a full schedule, and we will be attending their events as often as time allows.

Lastly, thank you to all the riders and fans who supported Valpo Speedway Action, and please stay tuned for updates as they become available. Zippo Racing Promotions and those involved will continue to support the AMA and USA SPEEDWAY, and hope the enthusiasm and unity continues and grows for the great sport of Motorcycle Speedway Racing in the United States. AMA BIKE DAYS
May 26 & 27, 2007

The AMA/USA Speedway National Long Track Championship will be held during Bike Days at the Stark County Fairgrounds, Canton, Ohio on Sunday, May 27.

We are providing an area in the Bike Days souvenir program for the Speedway Riders who are competing in the Long Track National - (this is a great way to promote your sponsors.) and it's free of charge - please email a "head shot" photo to brownmotors@sssnet.com -

Deadline is Sunday May 6.
