If somebody could send me ones I offer many programmes, video, different
souvenirs.

It has been pointed out today that Lawrence will be at Poole next
Wednesday for the visit of Ipswich and is therefore ineligible to take
the guest booking tonight.

Poole only held the lead once in this meeting - after heat 15 when a 5-1
from Havelock and Nicholls ensured they can take some form of advantage,
slender though it is, to Cowley on Friday. With Billy Hamill doing a Justin
Elkins impression in his first two outings Poole had to wrok hard over the
closing stages to get anything from this meeting, with Oxford looking a
lively outfit. Their choice of guest, Andrew Appleton in place of Lukas
Dryml gave excellent value, looking more than comfortable and rarely out of
his depth. He made Havelock work hard to get past him in heat 6 and then
ensured Nicholls didn't have things all his own way in heat 12. Jan
Staechmann made a more than satisfactory return to the side, hopefully he is
not too battered and bruised after being trapped beneath his bike in heat 10
when he fell on the pit turn. His exclusion was inevitable although
Wiltshire appeared aggrieved a race later when his white light was
illuminated when he crashed out entering the first turn in the re-start of
heat 11. The race had been called back with all 4 when Hamill took Wiltshire
wide resulting in the Australian leaving Clouting nowhere to go on the
outside without bailing out. Wiltshire felt the same should have happened
when he hit the track, but the referee took the opinion that Wiltshire's
chosen manouevre caused himself to fall.
Lindqvist gained his first win in Poole colours when he was nursed home by
Nicholls in heat 5 but Clouting twice threw away valuable points when he
fell whilst leading in heat 2 and then fell again in heat 11 (third start),
but remounting this time and completing the distance for a solitary point.
Oxford must fancy their chances on Friday night, especially if Loram is
unfit and Hamill has another nightmare of a meeting!
