Note: 2001 was Phil's first season in Canadian Speedway. He immigrated here with his wife, Helen, son Michael and daughter Elizabeth from England in February 2001. This year at the 2002 AGM he was voted onto the board of directors of the Canadian Speedway Racing Association. Although Phil sustained a shoulder injury in the final practice session last fall, he is looking forward to competing in Division Two for the 2002 season. Finishing second in long standing points in Division Three for 2001, he will certainly be one to watch this season.
