Hello, What a great night at Valpo Speedway.

Despite a small rain at the beginning, and a 1 hour delay, the 2nd Race at Valpo Speedway went on with outstanding results.
We had approximately a dozen trucks on the track wheel packing the moisture in, and man did that make for a fast evening.
There was absolutely no dust, and the track did nothing but get faster and faster as the night went on.

I had a few riders come up to me and say they had never ridden that fast on a speedway bike.
We ran all the riders together (GP style), and scored them into an "A" and "B" main event final.
This worked out great, and I believe this actually made some of the newer riders faster.

From the National Anthem to the last Checkered Flag took 2 1/2 hours;with everyone wanting more.
Congratulations to our "A" Main Winner - Artur Taraszka, and our "B"
Main Winner - Harold Hartke.

I would also like to greatly thank the Chicago Polish Speedway Fan Club, who came with many, many people, and so kindly and generously
gathered $500!! for the "A" Main Prize Money. I was completely shocked when they approached me.

Lastly, a huge thanks to all the people who helped in any way, and that includes the racers,Referee, Gateman, Corner Workers...I mean
everyone. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

For only our second race, THE ENTIRE RACE NIGHT WAS AWESOME!!!
