Victorville Clubman Nationals

Dylan Black and Chris Casey claimed Second and Third Division Championships, respectively, at the Clubman Nationals at Wheel2Wheel Raceway in Victorville.

The Second Division National Final featured Rohn Zellner, Rick Fehrman, Dylan Black, and Rachalle Kerr. Fehrman made the best start with Black setting after him right away. Fehrman withstood the pressure for over two laps before Black charged up the inside on the back straight to seize the lead as they entered turn three. Black ran away from there and was first to the checkered flag. Fehrman had to settle for second, Zellner was third, and Kerr finished fourth.

Norman Graham entered the Third Division Final undefeated and was joined by Tony DeAlmeida, Kip McClain, and Chris Casey. There was a big pileup in turn one the first time the tapes went up with Graham getting the worst of it. He was able to leave the track vertically but was unable to restart. Casey got the jump on his competitors in the restart and led all four laps en route to the victory. McClain finished second, DeAlmeida was third, and Graham was credited with fourth.

"Battling" Buck Blair won three of his four heats and defeated Michael Raines and Michael Hull to win the First Division Main Event.

Nick Varner put together four smooth laps to capture the Youth Second Division National Championship Final. Broc Nicol finished second, Kurtis Hamill was third, and Hayley Perrault finished fourth.

Brandon Rhea won both his heats and was victorious in the Pee Wee National Final. Summer Fehrman finished second and Dakota Shockley was third.

Ally McGrath defeated Summer Fehrman to win the Powder Puff National Championship Final.

Bryan Motis and Brandi McElroy won two of their heats and blazed to victory in the Sidecar Main Event. Dave Alexander and Trever DeSherlia finished second, Scott Driggers and Casey Driggers were third, and Dylan Beard and Jeff Eblen finished fourth.

The next speedway event at Wheel2Wheel Raceway is the Speedway Billy Memorial Trophy and Sidecar Nationals on Saturday, October 30. The event will be the final 2010 speedway event in Victorville.
