It was a good night of racing with no rain (hooray). I can't write an article as exciting as the racing was . Some very good passing took place inside and outside lines were available for the taking . There was not just one or two fast riders , all of them are fast and capable of producing a win. The U.S. Open will be a treat if the track produces similar lines for racing (which mother nature can mess up here on the east coast) . Main event had the five fastest riders of the evening in Mike Buman, Jeremy Parsons, Brian Hollenbeck, Dave Clark and Adam Mittl. It was a crowded first corner with everyone giving it their all. Parsons came out on top and was riding brilliantly with Buman all over him. I am not sure where or how on the third lap Buman made the speed coming down the backstretch into turn three to make the pass on a very fast Parsons but he did it and won the main event and The Hank Basset cup.
