If you knew where to look, you could find Legends in the Pit area Wednesday afternoon. It was Custom Hot Rod & Classic Car Show Night at the Grand and "L.A. Loco's" 32 Roadster caught my eye. Injured First Div. rider Brad Pappalardo had many friends gathered around his wheelchair, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Pee Wee Main Event, restart: #31 Alyssa Smith came from the penalty line but was unable to catch speedy #16 Jake Isaac.
#11 Tristan Britt was second, and Alyssa third.
200cc 2nd Div: #18 Sebastian Palmese took the lead early and brought home the trophy.  #214 Michael Wells (on the pole) was second and #108 Chase Sanborn took third. 200cc 1st Div Main Event: A restart that sent #98 Broc Nicol to the penalty line, but he worked his way back to the checkered flag, coming in first. #7 Gino Scopellite was second and #222 Dalton Leedy took third.

250cc Main Event: #111 Dillon Ruml on the pole, his big brother #308 Max Ruml is in two. That's #104 Kurtis Hamill gating from the wall. Max won it, Dillon took second and Kurtis had to settle for third. Support Div: #227 Wade Whitcomb (R) finds his line blocked by #393 C.J. Sanborn and hits the dirt.
#316 Kip McClain (L) goes wide while #311 Rip Fife (in blue) reconsiders.
First Div action: #63 Michael Raines almost took at heat race away from a very game #6 Shawn McConnell, but "Mad Dog" caught the kid at the finish line in classic McConnell style.

First Division Main Event: #25 Fishback III is on the pole next to former WC Billy Hamill, in two; #27 Austin Novratil is in the sandwich; #6 Shawn McConnell drives from four, and #43 Charlie Venegas takes off along the wall. Hamill won it, Fishback took second after Novratil lifted big time in turn 2; McConnell finished third. Assessing the damage is Austin's dad, Mike Novratil. [Verdict: Toast!]

Former World Champion Billy "The Bullet" Hamill was a perfect five for five, including a victory in the main event, at Industry Speedway.

Hamill and Jimmy "Little Animal" Fishback both entered the main event undefeated. Fishback won the coin toss for first gate choice and picked gate one while Hamill chose gate two. When the tapes went up, Hamill held a slight lead as the field entered turn one. Fishback leaned hard on Hamill as they exited turn two in an effort to muscle his way into the lead, but Hamill held firm and found sufficient traction to pull ahead on the back straight. Austin Novratil went around Fishback and dropped into second as they entered turn three. Novratil chased Hamill the next two laps but the 16 year old couldn't find a way past. Novratil's pursuit ended unceremoniously when his bike straightened up in turn two and he dismounted before his machine had a high-speed impact with the wall. Hamill was first to the checkered flag, Fishback finished second, Shawn "Mad Dog" McConnell was third, Charlie "The Edge" Venegas finished fourth, and Novratil was credited with fifth.

John"Mongoose" Marquez led the first heat for three laps before Fishback took the lead and his first win. Novratil beat Venegas in the second heat. Hamill defeated Jason Ramirez for his first win. Aaron Fox beat McConnell to end round one.

Fishback began round two by defeating McConnell. Venegas beat "Fast" Eddie Castro for his first win. Hamill held off Novratil for his second victory. Bobby "Boogaloo" Schwartz beat Michael Raines to finish the second round.

Fishback opened the final round with his third straight victory. McConnell narrowly beat Raines to the finish line to win event 14. Hamill matched Fishback's perfect score by defeating Ramirez. Novratil brought an end to the heats by beating Schwartz.

Castro and Fox advanced to the semis via a runoff with Raines getting third thus ending his evening.

Hamill won the first semi for his fourth consecutive win while Novratil finished second and followed him into the main. Fishback remained flawless by winning the second semi with McConnell earning the other transfer by finishing second. Venegas won the Last Chance to fill the final spot in the main event.

Carl Gazafy led all four laps en route to victory in the Support Main Event. Mike Salyer finished second, Tim McGrath was third, and Harold Hartke finished fourth.

C.J. Sanborn led the Support B Main but fell in turn four. Kip McClain and Craig Sprecher then battled side-by-side for the lead the next lap before McClain took control. McClain never relinquished the lead and crossed the finish line first. Sprecher had to settle for second, Sanborn remounted to finish third, and Rick Howard was fourth.

Max Ruml won both his heats and took home the victory in the Youth 250 Main Event. Dillon Ruml finished second and Kurtis Hamill was third.

Gino Scopellite led the Youth 200 First Division Main Event before Broc Nicol made a great cutback move on the third lap to take the lead. Nicol never looked back from there and went on to victory. Scopellite held on for second and Dalton Leedy finished third.

Sebastian Palmese led from start to finish and won the Youth 200 Second Division Main Event. Michael Wells was second, Chase Sanborn finished third, and Maverick Molloy was fourth.

Jake Isaac rode a solid four laps and won the Pee Wee Main Event for the first time. Tristan Britt finished second, Alyssa Smith was third, Luke Whitcomb finished fourth, and Brandon Spinella was fifth.
