The speedway program was really short. We had only seven riders for our class. My new GM Laydown, had sprocket problems, so I had to ride my upright. In the final, Gee Fafard lead until the last lap, last corner, when Keyhoe managed to get past him. I was running fourth, until the same point, where I managed to finally pass Gee's son Nick.
