I have a tentative agreement to hold a race at the Desert Empire Fairgrounds in Ridgecrest, California on April 26th. Last year a race was held there during their Spring Fair whcih featured Speedway Sprint Cars and Midgets. The plan is to run Speedway Sprints on Friday 25th and an all Speedway Bike program on April 26th.
The race date is a free Saturday before Costa Mesa and Auburn openers. There are still details to finalize on the logistics, but at this stage it looks very good. Most likely we would hold a First Division Championship event with Support Classes, the Youth Division, and hopefully Sidecars.
Ridgecrest is about 100 miles East of Bakersfield and is about 150 miles out of the LA area.
More news as we have it, but pencil this one in your calendar while we finalize the details.

FREE FULL-DAY LEGENDS SPEEDWAY SCHOOL ESSAY CONTEST
A full-day speedway school with Bruce Penhall, Mike Bast, Bobby Schwartz and possibly Barry Briggs. I have one spot to give away FREE, for anyone between the ages of 8 years old to 18 years old. To be eligible you must write or e-mail me by March 1, 2007. My only rule is your parents can not write this, you must write the letter yourself. Please make sure you include your phone number on your letter. The date has not been set, but looks to be in March or first part of April.

DREAM TEAM BBQ AND FUNDRAISER ON FEBRUARY 25
There will be barbecue and fundraiser at Dominator Designs on Sunday, February 25.
The Dream Team would also like to mention, there will be a silent auction in addition to the raffle prizes. The raffle tickets can be purchased through Dominator Designs (Scott Brant), Fred Facchini, or Gary Gomez. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Gumball Rally. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 15 tickets for $10.00. Winners do not need to be present! Cash donations will help the Dream Team riders purchase the food and supplies needed for there BBQ.
The barbecue will be buffet style and the cost is $5.00 per plate.
