This week's program featured some good racing, a couple of spectacular spills and some bike problems which had an impact on the results. Heat seven featured an even start, four riders determined to be first to the same point in turn one and the almost inevitable outcome of bikes and riders on the track. Fortunately there were no severe injuries from the crash but the combination of bruised bodies and damaged bikes put Bogden Muszynski and John Mercier on the sidelines for the rest of the night. Jeff Orosz was in commanding form in the first half of the program. A good ride had moved him from the backmark to second place by the fifth lap of the handicap main when he slowed and coasted to a halt. More engine trouble saw him stall at the gate in his next race. He borrowed a bike for the final but it did not suit him and the harder he tried the more ground he lost.

Taking advantage of the situation were youngsters Joe Heye and Casey Franic. Heye took D1 honors for the second week in a row and went one better than last week by becoming the first rider this year to win both the Handicap and D1 main events. He has made the transition to D1 racing with ease and has a bright future. Casey Franic had his best meeting of the season and finished in second place in both events.

Ryan Rainville came out on top in a very competitive night of D2 racing in which everyone but Dean Bencsis had a win and Dean qualified for the main event with consistent results. Rainville showed that he is just about ready for D1.

Kyle Legault took the D3 main again but his winning streak was broken with two DNF's due to bike problems. He added to the night's entertainment when he tried to pop a wheelie after his first race only to come off the back of the bike which carried on and over the safety fence at turn one. On the race track Rob Dixson was also in good form and has improved significantly since the season began.
