Bryan Yarrow made a midweek visit to Southern California and took home the main event victory at The Grand in Industry Hills for the second time this season.

The four-rider field in the main event was reduced to three when previously undefeated Charlie "The Edge" Venegas was excluded for touching the tapes. The second attempt saw Yarrow leap into the lead from gate two and beat Buck Blair to turn one. Blair's challenge for the lead ended there as he had his hands full with Ryan Fisher. Yarrow had the race in the bag after the first lap, but that didn't deter Fisher who blasted by Blair on the second lap. The order remained the same as Yarrow cruised to the victory, Fisher finished second, and Blair was third.

Blair began the evening with a victory in the first heat. Shawn McConnell followed with his first victory. Venegas was a winner over Nate Perkins. Bobby Schwartz passed Neil Facchini then held off Fisher to win the next race. The opening round ended with Yarrow defeating Jimmy Fishback.

Venegas began the second round by defeating Schwartz. Blair fought off Yarrow for his second victory. Fishback passed Fisher en route to victory in race 17. McConnell made it two in a row with a win in the next race. Tommy Hedden completed round two with a win over Robbie Sauer.

Blair remained perfect by winning the first race of the final round. Venegas matched Blair's perfect score by beating Hedden. Fisher scored his first win in race 27. Yarrow was victorious over Schwartz in the next race. McConnell won the final heat race to make it three riders with perfect scores.

Venegas and Yarrow finished first and second, respectively, in the first semi to transfer to the main. Blair jumped to the front in the second semi with McConnell behind him. Blair was on his way to the main, but McConnell got off the inside line and surrendered second, and the transfer, to Fisher. Schwartz easily won the Consolation.

Rich Brock had a big lead in the Second Division Main after three laps despite riding a very wide line. His preference cost him dearly in turn two of the final lap when he slowed to avoid hitting the fence. Brock's misfortune allowed Mark Sincavage to take the lead. Sincavage experienced his own difficulties in turn four, drifted wide, and gifted the lead and victory to Brock. Rudy Laurer finished third and Eloy Medellin was fourth.

John Zuber led all four laps of his heat and did the same in the Third Division Main to collect the victory in his speedway debut. Kerry Sorensen was second, Mark Skeels finished third, Jim Lavender was fourth, Troy Robinson finished fifth, and Damon Barry was sixth.

Tristan Stewart won the Pee Wee Main Event and his brother, Trevor, finished second. Rocco Scopellite was third, Austin Santana finished fourth, and Trevor Sargent was fifth.

Jason Ramirez passed Joey Holt on the third lap and ran away with the Youth Main Event victory. Holt held on for second, Krystal Cramer finished third, Russell Green was fourth, Dylan Black finished fifth, and Phillip Harmatiuk was sixth.

Kurt Williams and Jimmy Olsen were the victors in the Sidecar Main Event after all of their competitors failed to finish. Jeff Medberry and Chris Levitt were credited with second, Joe Jones and Brandi McElroy were third, and Brian Motis and Chris Coniglio were fourth.
