The third race of the season attracted two fans from Sweden. Peter Andersson (- Photo - whom we met in Nassjö, is 26 years old, has raced speedway for over 10 years, and is now into grasstrack at a world class level) , brought a friend, and traveled to the race with Patrick Ahlund from Quebec. Wes Pierce (announcer for twenty years at Niagara Speedway) again had the microphone for the evening. The American riders this evening were joined by Greg Comstock from Minnesota, and Biff Waczynski, from Maryland, their first appearance at this track.

The Muszynski brothers were racing again tonight, but mechanical problems stopped them from repeating their one - two win at the last race. The Division One final saw Jeff in second being pushed hard by Len Dillon in the battle for second place. Len finally went in close on the inside of Jeff in turn three. Jeff moved over a bit too far and went wide through four. It shook him up so much that Chris was able to take third spot away from him before the flag.
